The Chicks Continue To Get the Bird

| | Comments (3) | Sphere: Related Content

It seems that the Dixie Chicks have lost the hearts and minds of those “in” Dixie. They don’t appear to be doing well in their home state of Texas or the heartland of the country. They also seem to be able to find everything to blame except for themselves for the constant changing of their concerts and lack of ticket interest, sales and air time.

They should change their name to just “Chicks” or go for the name “Foot-n-Mouth” band because it looks like they lost a good portion of their fans or the fans aren’t ready to make nice either. In other words, the fans are putting new meaning to flipping someone the bird.

So you have to agree with an artist's political views to like their music? Seems pretty lame. Does that mean people in the south don't listen to John Lennon or Neil Young albums? Then they're missing some great music.

No, you don't have to agree with their political views. However, it was the chicks idea to mix the two together.

The fans are voicing their own opinions about the Chicks views by not listening.

If the Chicks want to do a talk show and voice their opinion, fine.

Its a big difference between listening to their music and listening to their views. Maybe they should attend the Democratic convention, instead. This way, people will pay to hear their opinion and some will agree with them.

Have you ever asked yourself "WHY" fans have to even hear what an artist political
views are?
